Nathan Moore
In 1986, Nathan became the frontman of Brother Beyond, signed to EMI Records. The band broke through in 1988 following a collaboration with hit-making producers Stock Aitken Waterman. Their single The Harder I Try reached No. 2 in the UK charts, followed by He Ain’t No Competition at No. 6. Further hits included Be My Twin and Can You Keep a Secret, while their album Get Even reached the UK Top 10 and sold more than 400,000 copies.
Following Brother Beyond’s split in 1990, Nathan moved into television presenting and theatre, including a leading role alongside Danniella Westbrook in A Slice of Saturday Night.
In 1994, Nathan returned to pop as the frontman of Worlds Apart. The group became hugely successful across Europe, particularly in France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Poland. Their album Everybody sold one million copies in France, while the band achieved two No. 1 albums and six Top 5 singles, including Everlasting Love, Je Te Donne and Quand Je Rêve de Toi.
Nathan later moved into artist management, co-managing performers including Lisa Scott-Lee, Natasha Bedingfield, James Fox, Haydon Eshun, Phixx and classical crossover singer Keedie. He also appeared on television programmes including MTV’s Totally Scott-Lee and Channel 4’s Boys Will Be Girls.
In 2006, Nathan returned to live performance following an appearance on ITV1’s Hit Me Baby One More Time. Tours with Rick Astley and Kim Wilde followed, alongside regular festival appearances.
Worlds Apart reunited in 2011 for a nationwide arena tour of France, followed by a new album in 2012. Nathan continues to perform, bringing a career spanning decades of British and European pop music to audiences today.
