Nicholas McDonald is best known as the runner up to Sam Bailey on the tenth series of ITV reality show The X Factor. He has received an abundance of success within the music industry since his TV stint in 2013 and is now in high demand as a solo artist for a variety of corporate events and functions.

As the youngest contestant of his series, Nicholas was just 16 when he auditioned in Glasgow for The X Factor. He wowed the judges and nation with his incredible vocal talents when he sang his own powerful rendition of Secret Garden’s You Raise Me Up.

Since leaving the show, McDonald left school and signed a record deal with RCA Records. He released his debut album In the Arms of an Angel in 2014 which includes three original tracks and various covers that he performed on The X Factor.
