Simone Lisa Kennedy, was born into a gifted musical family, her mother sang and her father Errol Kennedy went on co found the amazing British Soul group Imagination. Throw into that mix her Auntie Singer Grace Kennedy then you know it’s in her blood!..

Pursing the arts from a young age Simone loved to perform through Singing but also acting and dancing and has featured as a main character in Children’s TV series Erasmus Microman, with Ken Campbell and Naomi Harris and Walls Ice cream advert.

She then began singing gospel music and put her focus on raising a family.

Now as her family have grown she is free to pursue her career and starting to record and has been performing in Venues regularly now she resides back in The UK after living in Spain for 14 yrs.

To re-enter the acting arena, in 2019 she was given the role as Rosetta in the UK Comedian Angie Lamar Gospel musical Take Me Back, which was debuted in the Criterion Theatre Piccadilly Circus, London’s West end.

In 2017 she organised and performed a concert with Otis Redding lll as He made His debut in the South of Spain.
In 2018 Simone had the opportunity to be part of the opening act for the Jackson’s, on their tour of Spain at the famous Marbella Club Hotel.
2019-2021 she is a presenter at Revelation TV and enjoys producing and being part different programmes on the Channel. She Matters and Everyday Living.

She performs mainly at private events with her own Soul band Soulicious. But is enjoying pursing collaborations with various producers and artists and performs with her Father’s new group, Funk Soul Brothers at Events and Festivals recently 2024 Love Supreme with Chaka Khan, Joss Stone and Kool and the Gang. Simone is the Founder of Soulful Ceremonies , where functions as a Wedding Celebrant and Singer mainly operating out of Spain, London and internationally.
